The next Sword and Shield Max Raid event offers the chance to catch a bunch of Gigantamax Pokemon.

Pokemon Sword and Shield regularly hosts Wild Area events, aka Max Raid Battle events, featuring rare or event-exclusive Pokemon. June’s Sword and Shield Wild Area Event dials that up to the (Giganta)max, with 22 Gigantamax Pokemon split between each version.

The new Max Raid event runs from June 2 at 11 a.m. EST through June 29 at 7:59 p.m. EST. The news comes from Serebii, who also lists which Pokemon are available for which version.

Again, all these are Gigantamax forms, and you’ll get a chance to nab some ‘mon that aren’t native to each version too, like Gigantamax Gengar making an appearance in Pokemon Sword.
