As we reported last week, PC players in the United States and South America will be able to play the game first, starting at 7 p.m. EST on Thursday, October 24. For PC players using Game Pass to play The Outer Worlds, pre-load is currently available.

But whether you pre-ordered the game or not, you might still be wondering what the game’s PC requirements actually are. Luckily, Obsidian and The Private Division recently released the game’s PC specs. If you’ve played any modern PC game on your rig, it looks like you won’t have much to worry about.

It certainly won’t devour your harddrive like Call of Duty Modern Warfare. Here’s what you can expect.

The Outer Worlds Minimum PC Specs

  • OS: Windows 7 (SP1) 64bit
  • CPU: Intel Core i3-3225 or AMD Phenom II X6 1100T
  • RAM: 4GB
  • GPU: Nvidia GTX 650 Ti or AMD HD 7850
  • HDD Space: 40GB

The Outer Worlds Recommended PC Specs

  • OS: Windows 10 64bit
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-7700K  or Ryzen 5 1600
  • RAM: 8GB
  • GPU: GeForce GTX 1060 6GB or Radeon RX 470
  • HDD Space: 40GB

Of course, these specifications most likely reference what you’ll need to play the game at 1080p 30fps and 1080p 60fps. Running the game at anything higher may require a little bit more punch.

The Outer Worlds is set to officially release on October 25 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. There is currently no word on when the game will release on the Nintendo Switch, though the developers have said that it will happen sometime in the future.
