Rainbow Six: Siege’s Alpha is Now Underway for PC Players

The Rainbow Six: Siege alpha has now launched for PC Players in North America and Europe

Ubisoft’s Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege has just launched a closed alpha today. The alpha will close on April 13th at 7 AM PDT. Right now the test is only open to PC players in North America and the European regions. Siege will be marked as the first Rainbow Six game since Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Vegas back in 2008.

Developers of the game want to use this alpha as a test for Rainbow Six in many ways, but the most important goals are finding out how smooth the gameplay is, while also testing the infrastructure of the servers. General feedback is also welcomed as this is the first time a fresh pair of eyes will be laid on the game itself.

The company does want to remind players of how the alpha is only a very limited version of Rainbow Six: Siege. A statement on the website reads:

Please keep in mind this is purely a testing period, and not only is the content a small sample of the full scope of the game, but the number of testers is limited and they’re likely to run into bugs and issues that will interfere with their experience. We’re looking for passionate testers who understand the nature of a PC Closed Alpha and are willing to work with us on making it better

A closed beta has also been announced for the game, and only people who have already pre-ordered a copy of the new Rainbow Six: Siege will be registered in.
