The physical release of the game will contain the game, a special collector’s box, the Book of Knowledge, a map, and a two-disc soundtrack. At the moment, preorders are only available through Play Asia. It is currently unknown how many copies will be made, as it will be based on demand, and orders will only be guaranteed if they are made before February 2018.

Rainbow Skies follows the story of Damion, who fails his monster-taming exam and accidentally destroys an entire monster compound due to a hangover. This leads to a failed cover-up operation, which escalates and ends up putting him in the middle of a conflict between two powerful factions.

Rainbow Skies will feature turn-based combat, monster taming and breeding,  upgradable characters, and plenty of different weapons and equipment to use. There will also be a handful of additional content to keep players satisfied for hours.

Rainbow Skies is slated for release sometime in 2018 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita, and will have a cross-save feature.
