The quirky, kid-friendly game was finally released September 4 and the critics seem to enjoy it at its own cost. With bright animation and creative characters, this dreamscape world surrounding the game allows one to escape to dream land if only for a few hours at a time.  Rayman Legends isn’t a simple kid’s game, as its cute protagonists suggest.

From recent reviews of Rayman Legends, the challenging aspect of the game is really how difficult each level can get as you progress through the storyline. Perhaps a certain jumping maze may take the player a couple of attempts before overcoming the challenge and unlocking the next level.

As IGN stated,

What’s spectacular about Rayman Legends is such a difficult and often confusing game can also be a dynamic pursuit for the whole family.

Rayman Legends’s intricate level design and co-op multi-player mode, though impressive to most, seems to have fallen flat for others–the main complaint being that all the characters have the same “handling” and don’t offer enough gameplay variety.

But what does get Rayman Legends praise across the board is its availability throughout various platforms; PC, Xbox 360, PS3 and the Wii U.

The beautiful game appeals to children and adults as a cinematic escape. An adventure of its own that gracefully takes the player on the hunt for Teensies while encountering bosses and other obstacles along the way.
