Reebok celebrates its long relationship with Iverson by throwing a shoe, gaming, and eSports party in Atlanta.

If you’re in Atlanta on October 23, you like Reebok, and you’re an Allan Iverson fan, you may just want to check out the Westside Cultural Arts Center.

From 6:30 p.m. EST to 11:30 p.m. on October 23, Reebok is hosting a special anniversary event in honor of its longstanding relationship with Iverson and the launch of the Question Mid Double Cross Sneaker. Iverson wore an ancestor of the Question Mid throughout his rookie season, in case you missed the connection there.

On top of all the shoe glory, there’s an eSports component to the celebrations (see how it ties into gaming?). It will feature vintage gaming and the latest version of NBA 2K20, thanks to a partnership between 4o4 Esports, Kombo Breakerz, Goma Stream, and GameStop Perimeter Mall.

While the live event is facilitated by eSports firm Immense DC, the Twitch version will be hosted by Fly Guy DC of Streets 94.5. The press release accompanying the news said there will be giveaways and live performances from “various hip-hop and R&B artists.”

You'll usually find him playing RPGs, strategy games, or platformers, but he's up for almost anything that seems interesting.
