The wait for Scarlet Nexus is almost over, but it just got a bit more difficult. Bandai Namco released two new trailers highlighting Scarlet Nexus combat, and we need this anime deliciousness in our lives right now, please and thank you.

The first trailer sees Other Suppression Force member Yuito take on a giant deer-thing called a Slippery Chinery after discovering it with psychic powers. Yuito uses a combination of sword fighting and mind powers to deal with the Chinery, and it’s the mind powers that really stand out.

Rather than just swinging heavy objects around, it looks like Scarlet Nexus will have us manipulating both control sticks in a variety of ways to deal huge damage and expose enemy weak points.

The second trailer hones in on this even more. OSF member Kasane battles a horde of Others in this one, using mind powers almost exclusively. Tossing Others around, smashing things, and wielding incredible mind powers is all in a day’s work, and we’ve only seen a small amount of what the OSF can do

Scarlet Nexus releases on June 25 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Stay tuned for more in the coming weeks.
