It’s been a year since Scarlet Nexus was first announced at Gamescom for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and PS5, but we finally have a release date for this upcoming stylish action RPG. Confirmed via a press release, Bandai Namco has revealed that Scarlet Nexus will launch on June 25 this year.

The developer and publisher also released a brand-new story trailer alongside the news, which can be seen below.

Speaking further about the upcoming release, Bandai Namco shared a bit of info about the game’s storyline, characters, and character abilities.

Featuring a dual story, begin your adventure with either Yuito Sumeragi, an energetic recruit from a prestigious political family, or Kasane Randall, the mysterious scout whose power and skill has gained great notoriety among the OSF.

As their different experiences interweave with each other, it is only then that you will reveal the full story and unlock all the mysteries of Scarlet Nexus caught between technology and psychic abilities.

Outside of the game’s Standard Edition, the digital-only Deluxe Edition contains an artbook, the Scarlet Nexus original soundtrack, exclusive cosmetics, and more. For the physical Guardians Edition, fans can expect a hardcover artbook, three art prints, a steelbook, and everything found in the Deluxe Edition.

Xbox One owners can upgrade to a next-gen copy for free, thanks to Microsoft’s Smart Delivery system. Currently, though, there’s no news on whether PS4 players will get the same opportunity.

Bandai Namco also took this opportunity to reveal a brand-new Scarlet Nexus anime series. Offering a teaser trailer and launching an official website, we don’t have much more information presently, but stay tuned to GameSkinny as we find out more about the upcoming RPG and accompanying anime.
