Sci-fi horror P.A.M.E.L.A. gets new trailer

P.A.M.E.L.A is shaping up to be a beautiful sci-fi horror set in a gorgeous utopian setting.

After watching the new trailer for P.A.M.E.L.A, I can’t stop thinking of how gorgeous this game looks. It is a testament to how powerful the Unity engine is. The lighting is vivid, the colors are warm and welcoming, the trees whistle in the wind, and the the U.I. -displayed on your character’s arm- is spectacular.

This indie game is a looker.

P.A.M.E.L.A. is a sci-fi horror, but there are rares signs of traditional tropes from the genre; there are no bloody corridors nor grungy color palette. The game is bright and colorful, but still has a creepy feel to it. Lifeless bodies seem to fill the streets and inside of buildings, but they are presented more as a mystery and not as a cheap scare.

Eden, the name of city P.A.M.E.L.A. takes place, is an open-world; giving you freedom to explore every mall, building, and street corner the city has to offer, as long as you can survive of course.

The city looks welcoming, making players want to explore, but at the same time fearing what you may find or run into during your explorations.

You’ll also be wielding very unconventional weapons.

Set in a world where war is non-existent, leaving very little use for weapons such as guns, knifes, or explosives. You will wield pacification weapons, meant to stun or neutralize. The game will also feature permadeath, making players think every action and move closely.

P.A.M.E.L.A. is planned to release in 2016, for PC. There are also plans to bring the game to consoles and VR headsets. If you like to know more information about the game you can visit the main site here. Stay tuned for more news about P.A.M.L.A. here at GameSkinny.
