Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: the Game DLC Finally Out!

We did it, guys. We finally got the Wallace Wells and online play DLC. Too bad my hands rotted off waiting for it.

After what seems like an eternity of waiting, the new Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: the G sc ame DLC is finally here. Bring out the champagne and warm up your consoles, it’s time to beat down some evil exes.

Originally announced forever ago, this new DLC pack brings two great things to the table: Wallace Wells as a playable character and, more importantly, an online mode. You can finally play with your friends you actually like to play video games with, instead of forcing your creepy neighbor to play through the game with you over and over. I mean, I’m grateful and all, Greg, but at least shave the lip hair.

As seen in the video, Wallace Wells’ style seems to be pretty interesting. I can’t wait to pick him up tomorrow and give him a shot. I’ll be replaying through the game and plan on doing a review of it, so, keep an eye out for that.

According to the Playstation blog, you can pick this bad boy up now on the PSN for $4.99. For XBOX360, it will be 400 Microsoft points. As excited as I am, I think it is kind of ridiculous that they’re charging people for an online play mode, especially since it’s been delayed for so long. Oh, well. Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: the Game is one of my favorites so it’s worth it to me.
