Seattle Retro Game Expo Announces Dates and New Venue

SRGE 2014 takes place June 28th and 29th at the Washington State Convention Center.

According to their official Twitter feed, the Seattle Retro Game Expo (SRGE) will take place June 28th and 29th. What may be bigger news is the move from the relatively small Northwest Rooms in Seattle Center to the spacious halls of the Washington State Convention Center, host of PAX and Emerald City Comic Con. While SRGE 2014 won’t be nearly the size of those massive conventions, the move to the WSCC is a big one that will give them room to grow for years to come.

The Seattle Retro Game Expo is an annual event that began in 2011 as an effort to help foster a community around retrogaming. The show features retro game vendors from around the Pacific Northwest and a freeplay room with access to classic games and consoles. The show also features panels from former and current game developers as well as members of the retrogaming community. Want to learn more about the Seattle Retro Game Expo?
