Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew Reveals Release Date, Demo at PC Gaming Show

Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew readies to set sail with an upcoming demo.

Get ready to plunder to your heart’s content with Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew. The latest trailer, released during the PC Gaming Show segment of Summer Game Fest, confirms the Red Marley will hit the high seas on August 17 on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S. Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew will also take part in Steam Next Fest, with a demo available from June 19 to June 26.

Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew features vivid art of the Lost Caribbean, where you must assemble a crew of cursed pirates to take on the Inquisition of the Burning Maiden. Featuring spectral powers, the stealth strategy game pits you against soldiers of the Inquisition as you attempt to reclaim the treasure of Captain Mordechai. You get to meet the leader of the Inquisition of the Burning Maiden, Ignacia, who plays the part of the villainous bad guy.

With plenty of gameplay coupled with a rousing sea shanty by composer Filippo Beck Peccoz, we the trailer is certainly a vibe. Each character has their own backstory, which you can uncover and discover throughout the game. Starting off as Afia Manicato, the trailer introduces Virgilio, Pinkus von Presswald, and others.

With the demo coming in little over a week on June 19, and the release on August 17 less than three months away, you’ll need to get your sea shanty singing voice tuned and your spirit powers picked. For the Red Marley’s gonna need you to assemble her crew and beat the Inquisition this summer.
