Shadowrun Return’s Campaign Will Allow A Multitude of Modifications

If you’re interested in modding you should check out Shadowrun Returns when it comes out July 25th of this year.

Why?

Shadowrun Returns is a tactical RPG game that brings you into that world and features a single-player game. The kickstarter goal was $400,000 and they soared to over $1.8 million. This has allowed them to implement some great new features and give great reward options for those who helped fund it. According to GameInformer, Jordan Weisman and his team decided to allow for the entire campaign to be edited by the users. It will launch with an editor through Steam.

The title will allow for custom content to be added as well, a great addition to any modding community. You will be able to write your own campaigns as well as modify and completely alter the one that ships with the game and release them for the world to play. Weisman said that “he got the idea after working on an alternate reality game with Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor”. Reznor had made tracks for Garage Band and invited people to remix them.
