This article is over 9 years old and may contain outdated information

Good news for Star Wars fans. The critically acclaimed Star Wars RPG Knights of the Old Republic is now available on Android. As of now there seems to be no difference between this version and the one released on the iPhone over a year ago. This is anything but bad news. This is Knights of the Old Republic in its true form, just mobile.

The mechanics of the game are turn based, but still give an illusion of real-time combat, you can create a team of up to three people (including yourself), and choose how your own character develops altering the story. All of this is even able to translate well to touch screens as the original iOS port came with great reception from gamers.

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic was released originally in 2003 on Xbox and PC and won many awards such as game of year from sources such as IGN, Xbox Magazine, and G4. If you have never played this game and are a fan of Dungeons and Dragons style video games or RPGs, you owe it to yourself to give this game a go.

To celebrate the game’s Android release you can get it for 50% off at $4.99 before the price is raised to it’s standard $9.99.

Find it on Google Play.
