Star Wars Pinball Tables Arriving To Wii U Next Month!

"Ready are you? What know you of ready? For eight hundred years have I trained Jedi. My own counsel I will keep on who is to be trained. A Jedi must have the deepest commitment, the most serious mind..."

Coming to Nintendo’s eShop in July, Star Wars Pinball will include tables influenced by Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and Boba Fett.

Zen Studios already had the pinball tables released for XBLA previously. The tables include a lot of fantasy elements that veteran pinball players might not appreciate, but overall add to the enjoyment. Some features of the new tables are:

  • The Empire Strikes Back – retells the movie, as well as having side-missions.
  • Clone Wars – focuses on action and ramps.
  • Boba Fett – maintains a cycle of turning in bounties.

According to Game Informer, the three tables all exhibit a good mirror of the saga, “from the voice clips and dot matrix reenactments of movie scenes in The Empire Strikes Back to the CG-inspired characters of Clone Wars voiced by the actors of the show.”

The game will transition itself to Wii U July 11th for $9.99, and players will have a chance to use the GamePad by playing the game right on the game pad sleeve, as well as other features.

The more important question, however, is would Chewie approve of that handstand?

I'm a 29 year old Jersey girl who loves games. I currently work full time, volunteer part time at this awesome non-profit called Amman Imman, and go to school part time. I also train in jiu jitsu. So time isn't quite on my side (unlike that song says). I have been trying unsuccessfully for years to clone myself so I can devote one of me to boring stuff like working and laundry - thus allowing more time for gaming. I'm willing to offer large sums of imaginary money to any who can make this happen.
