Rumors are swirling as a reputable leak by Billbil-kun on Dealabs has shown a pricey collectors edition, known as the Constellation Edition, will be available for Starfield. As Bethesda’s newest universe in 25 years, it’s no surprise there will be a collector’s edition to celebrate the momentous launch of the game on September 6. Today during the Starfield Direct presentation, rumors were put to rest as a collectors edition was confirmed. Here’s what we know is included.
Two items have been confirmed during the Starfield Direct. The first is the Chronomark watch, based off the in game watch used as the player HUD. A fully functioning smartwatch, it’s inscribed with the year 2188 at the top, and Chronomark at the bottom, with orange accents on the side. Along with the watch is its case. Inspired by actual astronaut cases used to collect lunar samples, it comes with an intricate lock, Constellation Patch, and band. The exterior of the case is almost an exact replica of the ones you find in Starfield.
The rest of the Constellation Edition contents were not confirmed during the presentation, nor was the price announced. The Constellation Edition seems to be priced around $300 for both PC and Xbox Series X|S versions according to the leak. Previous collectors editions by Bethesda have included other items such as art books, exclusive in game content and more.
While we wait for the full contents of the various editions of Starfield, there’s load of news available to get you up to speed with the world. Once we know the prices and details of the editions, we’ll let you know.
