Steam Begins Offering Week-Long Deals

Love Steam for its cheap games? It's about to get better with Valve's new Week Long Deals.

Are you the type of person who only uses Steam to get games on the cheap? Do you log into the client or wander to the site everyday to check out the Daily Deal? If so, you’ve got something new to look forward to.

As of yesterday, Valve began its run of Week Long Deals. Now we have the Daily Deals, Weekend Deals, and Week Long Deals to keep an eye on — not to mention the holiday sales when they come around. My wallet is in a constant state of dismay.

This week’s deals are:

  • FlatOut (Bugbear Entertainment)
  • Steel Storm: Burning Retribution (Kot in Action Creative Artel)
  • Alpha Prime (Black Element)
  • Karateka (Liquid Entertainment)

These sales will run until Friday, on which the Weekend Deals will kick in. I have a serious weakness for Steam sales, so this is a mixed bag of news for me. My backlog has reached 200 and counting. I think I have a problem.
