Why is she wearing that uniform? She’s obviously too cool for school.

Without speaking about whether or not the character in the teaser art is or is not Shinobu, Grasshopper Manufacturer’s Goichi Suda (a.k.a. Suda51) said that the game will be in line with their previous releases in that it is an action game. However, there will be a twist to it: it’s got some kind of social functionality.

The director/writer of No More Heroes does not elaborate on what exactly is meant by the game being social. He draws the line between the upcoming release and other games by saying that the word social has been “used and misinterpreted a lot these days.”

Regarding what platform the possible No More Heroes spin-off will be on, Suda51 stated that they are looking into various consoles. It may or may not be next-gen as that has yet to be worked out.
