With Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End releasing in just over a month, this is the best time to pre-order a copy of the game, and reap all the benefits that go with it. The game is due to launch on May 10th worldwide, and offers a variety of new features, including a very spiffy multiplayer mode.
Overview of the game
Before we delve into all the pre-order options and the various places you can purchase them, let’s have a look at what the game has in store for us.
“Set three years after the events of UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception, Nathan Drake has presumably left the world of fortune hunting behind. However, it doesn’t take long for adventure to come calling when Drake’s brother, Sam, resurfaces seeking his help to save his own life and offering an adventure Drake can’t resist. “
Uncharted 4 features everything you’ve come to expect from the franchise, and more. With an expanded and improved multiplayer, a variety of cool new features, and some stunning visuals, the game is certainly going be a welcome distraction from the ‘real’ world. But, just in case you’re not as psyched as we are for this game, here’s the teaser!
Now that you’re all sufficiently psyched, let’s look at the various different versions of the game you can purchase.

The game’s standard edition simply offers you the basic game, as well as some nifty features for pre-ordering. These are:
- Uncharted Points: in-game currency to unlock multiplayer content

- Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Dynamic Theme
This version of the game goes for $59.99 (£49.99) for both the digital and disc version, across all the varying stores. The physical copy is of course subject to normal shipping prices. You can find a detailed list of the retailers below.

This DLC pack, which doesn’t include the game, is exclusive to the PlayStation store, and includes the following:
- Single-player story add-on
- Two multiplayer packs that will unlock new, rare, and legendary items
The price is currently sitting at $24.99 for this package, and is probably more valuable to those interested in buying the physical addition of the game. You can see why just below.

- The basic game
- The triple pack of add-ons and DLC

- Naughty Dog & Pirate Sigil Sticker Sheet
- Uncharted Points: in-game currency to unlock various multiplayer content
This edition of the game is also available for $79.99 (£59.99) from Amazon, Best Buy and Gamestop, but not the PS store itself. It is also likely to be available from various other retailers.
Libertalia Collector’s Edition
Yet another collector’s bundle available in physical form only (obviously), this bundle includes everything found in the Special Edition, as well as the following:
- 12” Premium Drake Statue

It goes for $119.99, and is yet again available from Amazon, Best Buy and Gamestop, as well as other retailers. The UK version seems to be unavailable/out of stock at this time, however.
As a sidenote, while the pre-order bonuses don’t seem to be mentioned for the two physical collector’s bundles, they are listed in the Amazon page, and will likely be available for all pre-order versions of the game.
