The Last of Us

Naughty Dog’s most recent project, The Last of Us, released some new game footage that will make you even more excited for this survival/desperation/horror game.

First, let me get this out of the way. If they ever make a movie, Joel needs to be played by Dylan McDermott. Just saying.

As a woman, I would appreciate this.

Okay but really. I know some of you are probably thinking “Man, another zombie game?”

Well, yes. As explained in the most recently released game play/interview by Neil Druckmann, Creative Director, the “infected” are the result of millions of deaths due to a neurological infection. As the main threat of the game, the infected contract the disease and degrade into inhuman beasts from there.

Druckmann goes through some of the levels of infected and how some of the game play mechanics are unique from other games. Keep an eye out for this little nugget of gold! I’m definitely going to snag it as soon as it comes out on June 14th. Though for those of you who can’t wait, pre-orders are open on the game’s website.
