Akira Himekawa, an artist duo who worked on previous Legend of Zelda manga book adaptations, announced that their The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess manga has been serialized on the Shogakukan’s MangaONE app. It will be available (in Japan only) on February 8th.

Viz Media has previously published a total of 10 volumes of The Legend of Zelda manga by Himekawa, including The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Majora’s Mask, Four Swords, A Link to the Past, and Phantom Hourglass, to name a few. Viz Media is currently selling the Box Set for $80.

This seems to be perfect timing, since The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD will be available on Wii U on March 4th in both Japan and the US.

The special Wolf Link and Midna amiibos will be launching alongside the HD remake with compatibility between the two. The Wolf Link amiibo itself unlocks new content for the game, as do the exisiting amiibos from the Zelda series.

Scanning the Wolf Link into Twilight Princess at a specific area in-game will allow players to access the “Thorough Battle: Trial of the Beast”. If you clear this trial while owning the “Giant Wallet”, it will grant you the “Bottomless Wallet.”  The new wallet you get will allow Link to hold 9,999 Rupees, as opposed to the 1,000 Rupee cap of the Giant Wallet.

Scanning Link or Toon Link will fully replenish arrows. Scanning Zelda or Sheik will replenish your health to full, and scanning Ganondorf will make you take twice as much damage from foes. These perks can be used once a day so use them wisely.

March 4th is shaping up to be a good day for Zelda fans. Hopefully the new perks and content will be enough to get fans to come back to Hyrule for those who already beat Twilight Princess
