The head of Respawn Entertainment, the makers of the upcoming Titanfall, has just announced on Twitter that the Titanfall beta is in fact a real thing. Vince said:
#supersecret announcement time. I’m sure no one has been able to guess from the leaks. PC and XboxOne Beta! Details in the coming days

After a ton of speculation, we finally have confirmation that a beta is real. Does this mean that the beta will be held on the dates revealed earlier today? No one knows for sure, but we will be getting the specifics very soon.
This is great news for those who missed the Xbox One alpha test (most of us) and for those who can’t wait to get their hands on the game (again, most of us). Will it live up to the astronomical hype that has generated since its showing at E3 last year? We hope it does because it looks like one of the best shooters of the year, or perhaps this generation, if the game delivers what it promises.
