The news followed up after Hawk responded to a tweet inquiring about the status of mobile game Tony Hawk’s Shred Session, which was announced by Activision back in April. Shred Session was a free-to-play game said to be made available for iOS and Android. Although it was given a summer release period, it has yet to be released.

Hawk’s Twitter reply to user hodapp cleared up any confusion about the game’s whereabouts:

The “bigger news” turned out to be bigger titles. Hawk continued to follow-up the tweet with further explanation:

An Activision rep has since confirmed the two statements made by Hawk:

“We can confirm that Tony Hawk’s Shred Session is postponed indefinitely, and that new Tony Hawk console and mobile titles are coming in 2015.”

Further details about Shred Session’s postponement have not been released, not has Activistion confirmed which consoles the games will be available on.

However, the console and mobile games are indeed expected to be released sometime in 2015.
