So while saving the world and getting his ass kicked by Captain America, Tony Stark had time to create his very own version of the Xbox One. Ok. We all know he had nothing to do with it, but it was a nice way for Microsoft to introduce another Xbox One to the world…well France that is. France appears to be the only area where this Xbox will be released for the time being.
Microsoft is no stranger with creating themed-based consoles. Previous consoles included Modern Warfare 3 and Star Wars for the Xbox 360 as well as Halo and most recently Quantum Break for the Xbox One.
The Tony Stark Edition is white and includes a sick looking Arc Reactor on the console that illuminates when powered on. The controller is also white with a Stark Industries logo.
So the obvious question remains… why white? Microsoft could have easily gone with the traditional IronMan colors of red and gold. Having an IronMan colored console would have been too good for me to pass up.
For those who are interested, I am sorry. This is currently only available to the locals of France via a sweepstakes giveaway. Knowing Microsoft, I’m sure they will have something lined up for everyone during their press conference @ E3.
