The scope of the game has very high goals. According to the announcement video, you will be able to create your own world, choose how you build your cities, and battle other players in real time, all while constantly being connected online. On top of everything, you will be able to play the game on your PC, then resume your progress on a tablet.

This is a very large goal for a development team of 20, but it’s likely to see fruition, because they are being backed by SEGA and have proven their ability to create amazing games. (Total War Battles, for example, has very positive reviews on both Android and iOS app stores.

They have not announced a date for the closed beta to begin, but the site is live and ready for registration. The only drawback (outside of the typical development bugs) is that the beta currently Windows only. There is no news if they will expand the beta to other platforms, but from the video they released, they seem to already have a running prototype running on tablets.
