Epic has announced that starting today qualifying schools and universities can gain access to Epic’s Unreal Engine 4 (UE4) for free. This means that all the tools that UE4 offeres will be free to use by students, who will also be able to take a copy home to use as they wish. “Students who know Unreal Engine technology have a huge advantage when it comes to job placement.”

I feel this can only be a good thing, the more creative minds behind games, the better the industry will become.
