Verizon Gets First Dibs on Halo: Spartan Assault

Halo franchise goes mobile

Halo franchise goes mobile

The Windows Phone version of Halo: Spartan Assault will come to the US exclusively via Verizon.

At least for now.

Looking for your next Halo fix? Well then I hope you happen to carry a windows 8 enabled phone and a Verizon contract.

Halo: Spartan Assault Is a new top down twin-stick shooter making its way to mobile devices. The game will be sold for $6.99 and will be compatible with all four of Verizon’s Windows Phone 8 models. If you don’t have a Windows Phone or a Verizon contract, Halo: Spartan Assault is also headed to Windows 8 PCs and tablets. The game is slated to arrive this month, but no official day is given.

What looks to be an arcade experience with player customization on the battlefield through various load outs, and will also be able to hop in and out of familiar vehicles like the Wraith or the Warthog.
