A little less than a month ago, Treyarch allowed Xbox 360 players the chance to vote on new weapon skins. It was a simple vote and the two Personalization Packs that received the most votes won and were put in game.
Now it is your turn fellow PS3 and PC gamers! Treyarch tweeted the following:
Each Personalization Pack comes one weapon skin and 3 reticules and, for the first time in Black Ops 2, an animated calling card!
There are four options to vote for:
There is the Cyborg pack
There is the Comics pack
and last but certainly not least there is the Paladin pack
When PC and PS3 players start up the multiplayer section of Black Ops 2, they will be prompted to vote for two of the four packs, they can also watch a trailer featuring the four potential packs!
The voting started June 13th and is scheduled to conclude June 28th. The two most popular packs will be released in the days following the conclusion of the voting. For the Xbox 360 players, the voting ended May 28th and both popular skin packs were released May 29th!
Seeing game companies, like Treyarch, show interest in players opinions (enough to allow them to vote for future DLC) is a great sign and hopefully the voting system doesn’t go unnoticed by other game companies in the future!
