Warhaven Cinematic Trailer Charges Into Action at Summer Game Fest, Demo Announced

Hone your swordplay skills with the newest Warhaven trailer.

Warhaven, the next game from publisher Nexon, received a new cinematic trailer at Summer Game Fest 2023. The trailer comes alongside the announcement of an upcoming Steam demo. Originally announced in September 2022, Warhaven is a 16v16 PvP brawler based in the medieval land of Herath. You’ll play as either the Alliance or Mara, two factions duking it out for glory.

According to Nexon, there will be three different game modes to choose from: Arms Race, Onslaught, and Skirmish. Along with those game modes, there are four announced maps. The trailer also shows off the various characters available in the game, including Hush, the latest to be added to the roster. Their skills weren’t highlighted here, but they did sneak into the battle.

Echoing games like For Honor and Chivalry 2, you won’t just be playing as sword-wielding knights. You can use spears or maces, shield bash through enemies, or sear them with magic. There are healers to keep your side in the fight and holy knights battling with radiant glory.

More information will be revealed about Warhaven at the June 10 Future Games Show and the June 11 PC Gaming Show with in-depth gameplay trailers. Those looking to test out the action can try the demo during Steam Next Fest starting on June 19 through June 26. Hush will be a playable character.

Warhaven is set to release this year on PC via Steam. A firm release date hasn’t been set. Stay tuned for more information as the rest of Summer Game Fest rolls on.
