While many games published 2024 roadmaps in January, Wartales remained mum on its plans for the year. Remedying this, Shiro Games has released an update on what we can expect in the second quarter of 2024. Here’s what was announced in the Wartales roadmap update, including a new DLC.
New Wartales DLC Announced in Roadmap Update
Those interested in expanding their influence throughout the realms of Wartales are in for a treat. The latest DLC coming to the game is The Tavern Opens!. Focusing on opening and running a tavern, you’ll be able to fulfill any business simulation urges while still kicking butt on the battlefield.
Not much is currently known about the DLC, with the team at Shiro Games stating more information will be released in the next few weeks. What we do know is The Tavern Opens! releases in April. You’ll be able to gain Krowns and Prestige while managing your bar. There’ll be unique events associated with the new activities, as well as rewards specific to the tavern mechanics.
Along with the DLC announcement, the next free community update hitting the game in June was revealed. It will include new battle maps, traps, and the ability to hide backpacks for your crew. For fans of the Wartales class, the Pugilist will also get a new starting backstory that you can explore. None of the map layouts or designs were included in the roadmap, but more is sure to come as the date gets closer.
There’s more DLC and free content being planned looking to the rest of the summer and into the end of 2024. It appears Shiro Games is aiming for two paid DLC launches and two free content updates.
