Watch Slowpoke’s Official Reggae Music Video

Like the rest of the world, we’re pretty obsessed with Mega Slowbro here at GameSkinny. It looks like the Pokemon Company is capitalizing on everyone’s re-acquataince with the pink Pokemon by releasing an official Slowpoke reggae music video. 

The song, which loosely translates to “How You’re a Slowpoke After All” features several bizarre images of Slowpoke, as well as a fairly groovy beat. 

I guess when there aren’t any Shellder around, Slowpoke like to bite each other’s tails to simulate evolution? 

According to Kotaku’s Brian Ashcraft, the rest of the song lyrics are quite comical, ranging from “Your big mouth is always open like a convenience store” to “Is it something to be proud of that you move so slowly that you never blur photos?”

Since I don’t speak Japanese, I’ll just have to take Ashcraft’s word on it. However, not being able to understand the lyrics doesn’t detract from the hilarity of the video at all. It’s nearly four minutes of goofy Slowpoke animations; I will be watching this on repeat all day long.
