WoW Composer Jason Hayes Creates Epic Video Game Cover Band

WOW composer creates the baddest video game tribute band on the planet

World of Warcraft composer Jason Hayes and VGMarket founder Michael Gluck (remember Piano Squall?) have put their heads together to create the most epic video game tribute band you could possibly think of. The band, Critical Hit, performs and records their own arrangements of video game music themes.

Critical Hit is composed of award-winning performers and recording artists with a truly massive list of video game, film, and live performance credits. Their work could be heard at The Annual Primetime Emmy’s, Cirque Du Soleil, and American Idol to name a few. Seriously. The amount of experience these guys have between them is staggering–just check out their credits page!

Critical Hit: Volume One will ship on October 31, and will feature 12 electrifying arrangements of gaming’s greatest hits. The track list features songs from World of WarcraftSuper Mario WorldThe Legend of ZeldaThe Elder Scrolls V: SkyrimHaloFinal FantasyCall of DutyMetal Gear Solid, Kingdom Hearts and more in musical styles from rock to classic.
