Xbox 360 Version of Titanfall Suffers Another Delay

If you plan on buying Titanfall for the Xbox 360, you're gonna have to wait a little longer.

While the Xbox One and PC versions dropped last week, those who want to play Titanfall  on the Xbox 360 will have to wait.

Electronic Arts has confirmed that Respawn Entertainment’s acclaimed shooter will now launch for the 360 on April 8 in the US. The European release will follow three days later, which is typical.

This version was supposed to launch alongside the Xbox One and PC iterations, but was pushed back to March 28. EA boss Patrick Soderlund explained why they’re giving developer Bluepoint Games a bit more time:

“…we see a few things that can be made even better, so we’re giving Bluepoint a little more time to do just that and deliver an epic Titanfall experience for Xbox 360 players. Titanfall for Xbox 360 will now be releasing on April 8 in North America, and beginning on April 11 in Europe. The game will feature the same 6v6 gameplay, maps, modes, weapons and Burn Cards as the Xbox One and PC versions of the game.”

He added that EA “appreciates everyone’s patience” as they iron out the last few details, and he also said he’s been playing the 360 version for some time and it’s “fantastic.”

Personally, I’d only want to play a game like Titanfall on the Xbox One or a quality gaming PC. At the same time, you have to recognize that there are around 80 million 360s out there, so this version is absolutely critical for EA.
