Xbox One advice from Dynasty Warriors 8 Director?

Atsuschi Miyauchi offers Microsoft advice on releasing Xbox One simultaneously in the US and Japan.

Atsuschi Miyauchi, the director for Dynasty Warriors 8 gave his thoughts for how Xbox One could be successful in Japan. The biggest advice he gave on the subject was releasing the system in both the United States and Japan at the same time. This coming from a Japanese game director when the Japanese companies are notorious for releasing games in Japan before they release in the Unite States.

According to Miyauchi, most Japanese companies are not sure what the Xbox One and Playstation 4 can offer them even after Konami and Square Enix displayed their new engines. So instead of reaching out to Microsoft and Sony, Miyauchi just gives public opinions on how Microsoft can win over the Japanese crowd that does not follow the same method the Japanese companies generally use to market their games. Whether it was a sincere offer of advice to Microsoft or just hopes for getting the Xbox One without extra wait I don’t know. What I do know though, is I can’t wait to see what the Dynasty Warriors team has for the Xbox One and Playstation 4. We probably won’t see anything until Dynasty Warriors 9 though.
