Splatoon's 1st Anniversary & Sea O' Colors Live CD going to be released

Splatoon is celebrating its 1st anniversary, and the virtual idol unit Sea O' Colors' live album will be released!

Splatoon is celebrating its first anniversary of its release with a special illustration for the anniversary. The official Splatoon Twitter account released this Tweet earlier today:

Translation: Splatoon was released in May 28th of last year. So, today is it's first anniversary. With many things happening, it has been a busy year. We owe the success of Splatoon to the players. Thank you very much, and we are sincerely looking forward to Splatoon's bright future.

Also, the Twitter account has mentioned that Sea O' Colors has an album that is going to be released. Sea O' Colors is a virtual celebrity unit inside Splatoon, having Callie (CV: keity.pop) and Marie (CV: Mari Mikuma) as its members.

For those who don't know this game, Splatoon is a third-person shooter developed by Nintendo. It was released in May 29th, 2015 in North America, and has sold 4.27 million copies worldwide by March of this year. It received positive reviews from several game critics, such as 81/100 from Metacritic, 9/10 from Eurogamer, 8.6/10 from IGN. With its success, people are expecting a sequel to the next Nintendo console, NX.
