Zombie Army Trilogy Brings Its Special Brand of Undead Chaos to Nintendo Switch

If slaying Nazi zombies on the go is your thing, Rebellion has something for you.

UK developer Rebellion is bringing its popular Zombie Army Trilogy to Nintendo Switch sometime in the first half of 2020.

Zombie Army Trilogy places you in the thick of an alternate World War 2 timeline. You're tasked with gunning down the armies of the undead in three separate "nerve-shredding" campaigns.

Enemies come in a variety of forms, from the standard zombie soldier to armored skeletons, chainsaw-wielding monsters (because naturally), and even a demonic version of Adolf Hitler — who you can kill over and over.

The Switch version of Zombie Army Trilogy includes all content made available in the trilogy's release on other platforms and an ultra-hard Horde mode. It also fully supports HD Rumble, local wireless play, and motion controls.

Zombie Army Trilogy has sold 4 million copies worldwide. A new installment, Zombie Army 4 Dead War, is set to release on other platforms that aren't called Nintendo Switch sometime in 2020.

Josh Broadwell's gaming career began early--1993, to be exact--when he was introduced to the Super Nintendo and Super Mario World. Despite all the magnificent games the SNES and, later, the original PlayStation had to offer, it wasn't until the GameBoy Advance era that he finally discovered RPGs, which quickly became a favorite genre. He holds a BA in history, an MA in history, and is currently pursuing an MA in strategic communication.
