Control is Out Now, and You Can Already Save $10 On It
Remedy's Control hits shelves and digital storefronts today. Criminally good, Control is already one of the best games of 2019, and it's one you should definitely play.
Thankfully, fulfilling that necessary task is a little easier on your wallet thanks to Amazon, Walmart, and Target. Each retailer currently has Control for $10 off, knocking the game down to $50.09 on PS4 and $49.99 on Xbox One.
While we don't know for sure if those prices are also for in-store purchases, we do know that it pertains to physical online purchases for PS4 and Xbox One. Sorry PC players; looks like Control is still $59.99 on the Epic Games Store.
Since both Walmart's and Target's sites are notoriously difficult to navigate because reasons, we've included links to each version of the game below. We've also added in Amazon links because we're nice like that.

In our official review, we said Control marks a new high point for Remedy Games, the makers behind such games as Max Payne, Alan Wake, and Quantum Break.
With X-Files-like side stories and its Metroidvania design, Control is obviously the biggest game yet for a studio that's historically focused on linearity. In a lovely way, it's also their weirdest game, with a plot that introduces more new phrases and big ideas than the rest of Remedy's catalog combined.
But we aren't the only ones praising the game. Control currently has an 81 and an 84 on Metacritic for PS4 and Xbox One respectively, with sites such as EGM, Destructoid, IGN, and GameRevoution giving the game high marks.
