New "Betrayed" Trailer for Digital Expansion of Star Wars: The Old Republic Reveals a Whole New Story

Knights of the Eternal Throne throws players into a decisive battle for control over the galaxy.

Today, BioWare and Lucasfilm unveiled the new “Betrayed” cinematic trailer. The trailer shows off the first look at the upcoming expansion Star Wars: The Old Republic – Knights of the Eternal Throne. The expansion will be available for download on December 2 for free for all Star Wars: The Old Republic subscribers. In addition, the expansion will give new players a new and exciting starting point for their own saga.

BioWare has also announced Pre-Order Rewards for Knights of the Eternal Throne. The infamous mercenary bounty hunter Shae Vizla will accompany all players who have subscribed to Stars Wars: The Old Republic by October 25th. Players who have subscribed by November 27th will receive a Rapid Recon Walker Mount and those who have been subscribed throughout the entire period will receive 3-days of early access to the expansion.

The expansion will place players at the center of a war to rule the galaxy. They will play as the Outlander, a veteran of the Great Galactic War, and will have the ability to make light or dark choices as the game progresses. Go up against Emperor Valkorion and Empress Vaylin, team up with your friends to spark light versus dark side battles, and use the new Galactic Command system to expand your power and influence in the galaxy.
