Glu Mobile Inc. started the celebrity mobile gaming trend with Kim Kardashian Hollywood back in 2014. Since then, the game has grossed $80 million and continues to grow in popularity. Other celebrities are starting to follow in her footsteps and have released or are planning to release games of their own this year. From chefs to models and actors to pop stars, here are some celebrity mobile games you should give a try this year.

Sniper X with Jason Statham (Glu Mobile Inc.)

The action movie actor, Jason Statham, has his own mobile game called Sniper X with Jason Statham. In the game, the player partners up with Statham to stop a terrorist group trying to acquire weapons of mass destruction. Using a sniper rifle, you take down enemies and can shoot red barrels to make them explode and take out multiple enemies.

This game is available in the App Store and Google Play Store.

Nicki Minaj Mobile Game (Glu Mobile Inc.)

The queen of hip-hop will be starring in her own mobile gaming app. Glu Mobile Inc., the developers of the game, hasn’t released any details about the game. However, they have said that the game will feature Nicki’s voice, likeness, and her “creative direction”.

The game is set to release this summer.

Taylor Swift Mobile Game (Glu Mobile Inc.)

The popular pop star has partnered with Glu Mobile for a multi-year partnership to develop this game. It is currently unknown what the game will be about, but Glu states that they will bring “Taylor’s unique creativity” and provide her fans a “new and highly differentiated mobile gaming experience”.

This is Taylor’s first entry in the mobile gaming franchise which is due to release later this year.

Britney Spears: American Dream (Glu Mobile Inc.)

This singer stars in her own mobile game, Britney Spears: American Dream. With voice acting and exclusive video messages from Britney herself, players work to fulfill their musical aspirations and rise to pop music stardom. This game also features character customization, in-game chat, player generated album artwork, top-chart leaderboards, and a curated Britney Spears track list. There is no doubt that you will be immersed in the world of Britney Spears.

Gordon Ramsay DASH (Glu Mobile Inc.)

The chef that is known for his appearance on the TV show Hell’s Kitchen now has a mobile game of his own called Gordon Ramsay DASH. Like Glu’s other games, Gordon Ramsay DASH features voice acting and exclusive video messages from Ramsay. Players try to achieve culinary success with Gordon Ramsay acting as a mentor. Players can also customize their character with different attire and equipment before facing their opponents in the chef arena.

Glu Mobile states their game “offers players the unique, high-stakes experience of building a restaurant empire while being mentored by Chef Gordon Ramsay.”

This game is now available in the App Store and Google Play Store.

Kendall & Kylie (Glu Mobile Inc.)

These sisters from the TV show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, star in their own mobile game, Kendall & Kylie. The app features their voices and exclusive video messages from Kendall and Kylie Jenner. Players progress through the game by interacting with the sisters as friends and mentors in order to accomplish their creative and careers goals. Character customization and a sharing functionality is also part of the game.

Glu Mobile believes that Kendall & Kylie “represents each of their personalities, likes, dislikes, style, and humor. The colorful, yet edgy and unexpected game features innovative social components, engaging storylines, and personal touches from Kendall and Kylie we expect their fan base will enjoy.”
