Earlier today, the PlayStation Blog announced the winners of their Game of the Year Awards for 2015. More than 600,000 fans voted on the awards this year on games in 11 categories.
The clear crowd favorite of 2015 is The Witcher 3, which won in three categories: Best PS4 Game, Best Story, and Best Soundtrack – and its Hearts of Stone expansion also won Best Expansion.
Also, it’s interesting to see the ways the editors’ opinions compared to voters’ choices – in many cases, the editors’ picks didn’t even gather enough votes to warrant an honorable mention!
The winner of each category is accompanied by 3 runners-up, some honorable mentions, and a few favorite titles as chosen by the editors. All of them are listed below.
