Reptile revealed for Mortal Kombat X

Mortal Kombat X will be here before you know it. Fan favorite Reptile joins the roster.

There are a few games that are considered “fighting royalty” in the video game universe. I feel that one that comes to mind right away is the Street Fighter franchise and the other that comes to my mind right away is Mortal Kombat. Mortal Kombat has come a long way from debuting in arcades to being a part of the console wars on the Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo. The franchise has come a long way and like any franchise they have had some hits as well as some misses. It appears that the series will be back on track with Mortal Kombat X.

Reptile will be back as a playable character, complete with his long reptilian tounge and acid attacks. It looks like Netherealm Studios is taking Reptile in a more animal-like direction and going away from the classic ninja looking fighter like he was in the old days of the franchise. Fans won’t have to wait too much longer for the game, since it releases April 14th so make sure to hone your skills to become the Mortal Kombat champ!
