Dungeons & Dragons Neverwinter, a sad experience

This weekend I had the luck to play a game that I wanted for a long time. Sadly, that game is not so much fun.

Neverwinter is beautiful, but I must say that is boring. Very Boring.

It´s so easy that I can’t think of any challenge–all the quests have pathways and the enemies just wait there to be killed using the same attacks and strategies. At the end, it was no fun–and fun is the most important thing for me.

I have played a half-orc Guardian Fighter and the first thing I noticed is that there is no dialogue at all. If the NPC doesn’t have a quest, he has nothing to say to you. Leveling up is boring and you just see the power (sometimes the same) that you get. After some levels you can get some feats, and the paragon. Combat is so simple that you only have to smash the button. I just use my encounter and daily power to accelerate the boring fights.

Okay, it´s beta, but I have played other beta games and I think that this one is not the golden apple. I’m sad, because Neverwinter I and II were great.

By the way, for me? Best MMO? Guild Wars 2.
