Forza Motorsport 5 Makes You Drool in Awe

Forza Motorsport 5 blew me away.

If you are a connoisseur of old-school European, iconic classics, US muscle and Italian supercars, then Forza Motorsport 5 is the game for you.

Released on November 22, 2013 for the Xbox One, by Turn 10 Studios, Forza Motorsport 5 delivers a car lover’s dream.

Limited Edition Copy (the copy I had to have)

The game has, at release, 200 cars from 50 manufacturers and 14 circuits including Spa, Bathurst, Yas Marina and Circuit de la Sarthe. There will be monthly car packs, including ten cars, each available to buy as downloadable content (DLC) during the first 12 months after launch.

Forza Motorsport 5 is a racing simulator that offers single-player, split-screen and an online multiplayer experience. It is also hailed as one of the best in its genre.

This is a game that gets you excited before you even start. The onslaught of vehicles from the affordable sedans, World-famous F1, GT, touring cars and even the hardcore open-wheelers like the ludicrous Ariel Atom V8.

The best place to drool like a fool over these bad boys is in the Forzavista mode. Here is where you can see every single inch of detail on these beauties. I was in awe being able to get so close to the perfection of these manmade marvels.

The tracks are astonishing. Every sense of reality is captured from lighting and shadows, to the feeling in the triggers of the Xbox One controller as you hit the road. Every attention to detail is captured flawlessly. The audio is fantastic. BBC’s hit UK show Top Gear hosts add that extra icing on the cake, as if this game needed any more icing.

This is an absolute phenomenal game that isn’t just gorgeous to look at but also to play.
