RUMOR: Watch Dogs 2 to be Announced at E3 2015?

Are we going to learn more about Watch Dogs 2 at E3 2015?

Watch Dogs, starring hacker Aiden Pearce, made an unexpected hit during its reveal by Ubisoft at E3 2012. However, although the game was quite popular with 10 million units sold according to Ubisoft's latest report, the game did not reach the expectations given at the conference.

Mockery quickly spread all over the internet about the less-than-great graphics of the game.

This did not stop the developer from talking about a second Watch Dogs, though. "Reliable" sources from the French gaming site GamerGen told them about Watch Dogs 2, that could be Ubisoft's star pupil at E3 2015 in June.

New city, new hacker?

The game is being developed in the Toronto based studios, as well as in San Francisco. The rumors say the game should be out in 2016, but the consoles are still unknown. GamerGen seems to believe this could be a 100% Next Gen release. And Watch Dogs 2 will be taking place not in Chicago, but in San Francisco, which could explain why they're working on the game over there.

The sources did not speak a word about Aiden Pearce, though. Is a new hero to be announced, replacing the un-charismatic hacker we all know? Patience is the key. We'll find out (or not) at E3 2015

This was a great game IMO. It really sucked me in while playing and I played for just about 2 days straight. Once I disconnected for a bit the game had a bit of trouble drawing me back. The tech adventure side of it was cool, story was decent, the gameplay and mini-games were well done. It was an all around great start for a franchise. I hope they put their effort into a sequel because the potential is there.

I think that a sequal to Watch Dogs could be an extremely good game, as long as Ubisoft have paid attention to the feedback to the first one.

I was quite disappointed with the first game, but it had great potential, it was a very interesting concept. If they learn from it they could really make something exceptional in my opinion.

I keep telling myself to do a quick playthrough of Watch_Dogs, only I keep forgetting about the game. It just didn't feel right, not mention it being crippled for PC to make the Consoles look better than they were. I just hope they meet the potential of the idea they have because they really lost direction during the development of the last game.

I think they have to re-invent the whole series. The first game came off as a joke to a lot of people, and the only way to recover is too start from scratch.
