If you want to get a basic idea behind the game, think back to the movie Gravity. It did a great job in conveying what it could feel like to be stranded in Space — at least judging by Sandra Bullock’s acting along and the seriously impressive visuals.

Adr1ft seeks to take that whole scenario a few steps further by putting players in space while throwing some pretty horrible curve-balls at them.

You play as an astronaut stranded in space, looking for a way to repair an emergency escape vehicle while dealing with a damaged space suit and (as if the aforementioned wasn’t enough trouble already) memory loss. Since this is on the Oculus Rift, it’s safe to say that players can expect a unique and surreal experience to say the least.

It’s also worth noting that Adr1ft will be available on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as well at a later date.
