Game Festival Features God of War Composer "Gerard Marino" and Others

Well-known composer Gerard Marino confirmed to be presenting talk at BIG 2017.

Well known and critically acclaimed music composer Gerard Marino has been confirmed to be attending the panel discussion at the Brazilian Independent Games Festival (BIG) 2017. 

On June 28 in São Paulo, Brazil, there will be a special talk during the BIG business Forum appropriately titled, “From DJ to God of War Music Composer: A talk with Gerard Marino”. It will be hosted by the Marino and Brazilian game composer Antonio Teoli. The discussion will be centered around Marino's work and musical career. He is most known for his soundtrack work in the

Marino is most known for his work on the God of War series, one of which lead him to be nominated for the BAFTA Award, the highest honor given from the British film academy. The host, Teoli, is an award-winning Brazilian composer and sound designer and is most known for his work in Finding Monsters Adventures, Jelly Splash, and many more. He is also teaching a separate workshop on June 30, that will be focusing on aspiring musicians wanting to become a part of the gaming industry. Registration for this event is already closed. 

The 5th edition of the BIG festival takes place from June 24 to July 2.
