Crystal Dynamics recently released a treasure trove of information regarding Marvel’s Avengers, its beta, and the game’s various editions. The news about the action-adventure game comes via the PlayStation Blog, and outlines the goodies players can expect to get alongside the game, including special outfits, credits, and early access.
First up, PlayStation 4 players will get access to the Avengers‘ beta first. They will also get the Exclusive Digital Edition of the game only available on PSN. It includes the base game and 1,000 credits and a Ms. Marvel nameplate. The credits will give PS4 players a head start in superhero customization.
PS4 players also get an up on PC, Xbox One, and Stadia players by getting a unique team nameplate, Ms. Marvel emote, and theme. Anyone who pre-orders will receive a handful of Marvel legacy outfits for Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, Thor, Ms. Marvel, and Hulk.
The game’s Deluxe Edition is available for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One for $79.99. It comes with the following extras:
- The Obsidian Outfit pack
- Six Obsidian-themed name plates
- 72-hour early access to the game
- Free one-month subscription to Marvel Unlimited
The game’s collector’s edition, called the Earth’s Mightiest Edition, is only available for the PS4 and Xbox One. It comes with a tower of superhero content, including:
- Everything in the Deluxe Edition
- Avengers A steelbook case
- 12-inch Captain America statue
- Hulk bobblehead
- Mjolnir keychain
- Black Widow belt buckle
- Iron Man prototype armor blueprint
- Ms. Marvel honorary avenger pin
- Avengers group photo
Finally, a brand-new trailer debuted with the PlayStation Blog post. It can be seen at the top of this article. It showcases a good bit of the game’s story, as well as some pretty awesome-looking gameplay featuring all of the Avengers.
