You get Creative XP in Fortnite when playing Creative Mode, and it’s gotten both actively and passively. Epic has been cracking down on players using the AFK method, but it’s still easy enough to get through daily challenges and playing Creative Mode even if XP tapers off. If you’re trying to get XP in Creative Mode, though, you may be wondering when Creative XP resets in Fortnite.
Fortnite Creative XP Reset Time
Since XP gains from performing the same actions reduces over time, it’s not necessarily conducive to leveling to keep playing through the day if you’re main goal is to get Creative XP. Changing your name to dodge Epic’s crackdown on the AFK method won’t help you either.
When XP starts to taper off the best thing to do is to wait it out as the amount of XP slowly starts to increase again, specifically when the Creative XP reset timer hits. Once the reset timer ticks over, your XP gains reset to full.
So when does Creative XP reset in Fortnite? At the time of writing, Creative XP resets in Fortnite daily at 9PM EST. This is also the reset timer for the daily challenges, XP you can gain from maps, and what’s available in the shop.
