All New & Returning Weapons in Fortnite Wrecked

Gear up with some new and returning weapons.

Not only do we have brand new map locations to explore in Fortnite Wrecked, but there are some spicy new weapons and some returning unvaulted weapons to test out. Weapons are your life in this Battle Royale, so here’s a look at your options and where you can get them.

All Weapons in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3

This season is particularly unique compared to the previous changes we’ve seen. That’s because the main focus of this season is on vehicles and their special new mods, like the turret. Because of that, we see a lot fewer new weapon additions, although plenty of them are carrying over from the last season (with a few unvaulted returns as well). There are, however, a few new ones to keep an eye out for:

Just like any other weapon, you can find new weapons in chests around the map, such as ground loot, and some rarer versions, such as mythic loot from bosses. The Nitro Fists, in particular, are a Mythic weapon from Megalo Don at Brutal Beachhead. Here’s a look at all of them.

Boom Bolt

The Boom Bolt is probably my favorite new weapon for this season. The weapon is built like a crossbow, a unique idea that we haven’t yet seen in the game, although it is very similar to the iconic Boom Bow. It’s a fast-firing weapon that fires off explosives. It’s most effective at taking out incoming vehicles, which is a must for this new season. Plus, you can mod it at Mod Bench to adjust it to your liking.

Nitro Fists

The Nitro Fists is a new melee weapon you can collect in the season. It has three different types of attacks you can perform with it: an uppercut, a three-punch combo, and an aerial. It has four charges, using one charge for each attack you perform. The aerial is a great way to get around the map faster, but you can change the effects by using it to pound the ground instead, causing an earthquake-like effect on the surrounding enemies.

Nitro Splash

Although not technically a weapon, the Nitro Splash is a new feature this season that can buff you significantly. You can find mini Nitro Splashes in loot containers or Nitro canisters around locations (just like Splash). The Nitro is great for you or on vehicles, boosting their effects by giving extra speed, less fuel or sprinting deterioration, ramming capabilities (for cars and players), fall damage immunity, and reload speed. It’s a must-have to give you the upper hand on your opponents.

Returning Weapons in Fortnite Wrecked

Along with these few new weapons, there are also plenty of weapons returning from the previous season, as well as some unvaulted items coming back. However, some of these returning items have been given some buffs to make them more effective.

  • Cerberus’ Gatekeeper Shotgun
  • Combat Shotgun
  • Enforcer AR
    • (With balance changes: Increased critical hit multiplier, increased fire rate, and increased damage.)
  • Gatekeeper Shotgun
  • Hammer Pump Shotgun
  • Harbinger SMG
  • Huntress DMR
  • Hand Cannon
    • (With balance changes: Increased damage at long distances and increased projectile speed.)
  • Oscar’s Frenzy Auto Shotgun
  • Ranger Pistol
  • Shockwave Grenade
  • Tactical Assault Rifle
    • ( With balance changes: Increased damage at long distances, reduced recoil, and reduced bullet spread.)
  • Thunder Burst SMG
  • Warforged Assault Rifle

Now that you know what weapons to look out for, you can hop into the game and start putting them to good use. Remember, most weapons can be modded at Mod Bench, allowing you to change the way their scopes look and adjust their utility the way that’s best for you.
