Ark: Survival Ascended Winter Wonderland 2023 Event Guide

RaptorClaus is coming to the Island and bringing his friends with him. As holiday dinosaurs invade Ark Survival Ascended, this is what we know about the newly updated 2023 Winter Wonderland event in ASA.

When Does the Winter Wonderland 2023 Event Start and End in ASA? Answered

This year’s edition of Winter Wonderland is set to begin on December 21, 2023 and will last until January 7, 2024. RaptorClaus will be dashing through the sky and air-dropping presents at midnight each night. New skins, new chibis, and new emotes will be available as part of the event.

How to Participate in Winter Wonderland 8

If you’re looking to get on the Nice List with RaptorClaus, you’ll need to do a few things.

• Launch the game.
• Navigate to the Ark Mods list.
• Search for Winter Wonderland and install the mod.
• Return to the main menu and select Mod Settings.
• Activate Winter Wonderland.

This only works on single-player or non-dedicated servers. For Dedicated, unofficial servers, you’ll need to download the mod from Curseforge or the mods page in game. It didn’t show up as a Featured Mod for me, so I had to search winter to find it. Once the mod is installed, use the following command in your launch code:

• -mods=927090

You’ll be able to experience increased event rates, depending on your current status and server.

• PVP/PVE: 1.5x Harvesting, Taming, and Experience + 1.5x Breeding
• Small Tribes: 4x Harvesting, Taming, and Experience + 3.5x Breeding
• ARKpocalypse: 4.5x Harvesting, Taming and Experience + 4.5x Breeding

All 2023 Winter Wonderland Creatures in Ark Survival Ascended

Along with RaptorClaus, four new holiday creatures will appear. All of the creatures can drop Coal or Mistletoe, while two of them also have additional mechanics.

• Santa’s Big Helper Yeti
• Abominable Snowman
• Pegomastax Grouch: Steals Gift Boxes in return for a special reward.
• Wild Rideable Reindeer: Can be fed Rockarrot and ridden for additional drop amounts.

Getting to see and tame special dinos aren’t the only perks of Winter Wonderland.
